hello beautiful friends!

so university has begun!! actually, it begun like a month ago, but i have only decided to update this journal now. and as uni is my new life, it is indeed appropriate to write about it.

so i'm studying arts/visual arts at monash caulfield, and i have to say that i am loving it! my course is so perfect for me and though i'm missing all my kilvo girls a lot, i am meeting nice new people and learning a lot more about myself!

my course involves drawing class, performance art class [which will switch to painting, sculpture, and tapestry within the year so i experience all four], theory and design class, and english [as my arts subject]. i'm really enjoying all of it so yay!

i feel so excited about this part of my life because i have gone into university hoping that i will grow as an artist and as a critical thinker. i still don't know what career i am aiming for in the end, but i am content with where i am now, and i feel confident that i made the right choice with 1, going to university, 2, not deferring, and 3, choosing this double degree course.

to end this seemingly useless journal, i would like to give a shout-out to my gorgeous best friend kathy who has recently turned eighteen, and also has recently joined DA! she has a fantastic eye for beauty so go and see her lovely writing skills and such! [link]
